This photo series is a showcase on the local Furry Fandom Culture in the NYC area. To explore the furry fandom is to explore a sense of self, whether a self in the moment or an idealized self. It is a community where people can be themselves and feel belonged without the stigma and shame of others. As a furry myself, I wanted to show my experiences in enjoying my time with friends, and the love for the craft.
